What we hold
Contact details, the risk details you give us on a proposal, claims history, and the policy documents an insurer issues. Where a policy is priced on health or convictions, that is special-category data and is held only for as long as the placing needs it.
Why
To place cover and to administer it. That is a contract you are party to, and a legal obligation on us as a regulated intermediary.
Who sees it
Insurers and their underwriting agents, loss adjusters where a claim is made, and the anti-fraud databases the market operates. Not marketing lists.
How long
The life of the policy plus six years, which is the limitation period for a claim against us. Longer where a claim is still open.
Cookies
This site sets none. It loads no third-party scripts, no analytics and no fonts from anyone else's server. If you add analytics, add a banner.
Your rights, and complaints
Access, correction, erasure where we are not required to keep it, and complaint to the Information Commissioner. Write to [email protected] or the office address at the foot of this page.
