Who we are
Kedworth & Quire is an independent insurance broker at 14 Tanner’s Yard, Ludlow SY8 1ZZ. We are the data controller for the information you give us. You can reach us at [email protected].
What we collect
To arrange insurance we need your name, contact details, address, date of birth and details of what you want insured. Depending on the cover this can include claims history, driving convictions, vehicle and property details, and for business cover your turnover and staff numbers.
Why we use it
To give you quotes, to place and administer your policy, to handle claims on your behalf, and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations. We rely on the contract with you, and for some data (such as criminal convictions relevant to cover) on the substantial public interest conditions that apply to insurance.
Who we share it with
With the insurers and underwriters we approach for your quote, loss adjusters and claims services, premium finance providers if you pay monthly, and our regulator if asked. We never sell your data and we do not use advertising trackers on this website.
How long we keep it
For as long as you are a client and then for up to seven years, because claims can be made long after a policy ends. Quote requests that do not become policies are deleted after 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by writing to [email protected]. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
